Jay begins writing the music for Korean TV Drama “Sik-Gek 2” and “A Star is Born” 5/07/10 Jay will write the image song (world wide commercial project) for the Samsung Corporation. 3/ 1/10 Jay is scoring for 2 films “Like other days” and” Like Sugar on the Tip of My Lips” 1/ 1/10 He is composing music for a new comedy movie series “Outlaw Emmett Deemus & Willy Jones” produced by Academy award nominee Larry Hankin. 11/ 2/09 He is composing for a new Korean drama “Sik-Gek 2” (20episodes) that will be on the air from 2010. 9/11/09 Jay can be heard as a guest speaker on AM Radio (1230/JBC in Los Angeles) “jay’s Film Music series” every friday at 12:30pm 9/10/09 Jay’s latest project, “Tamra, the Island” (20 episodes) , will be on the air from August 8, 2009 on MBC. The series is produced by Group 8. 7/14/09 Jay is currently composing music for a commercial of the new technology HD TV “Samsung LED TV” 4/27/09 He is scoring for three films ”Melting the Snowman” , “Nobody Likes You” and “Requiem for Her Story” 3/20/09 Jay will score for a Korean TV Drama “Fly Again”(20 episodes). 1/07/09 He will score for a feature documentary film “Gathering of Strangers” 11/28/08 Jay begins writing the score for Korean TV Drama “Tam-na Nun Do Da” (20 episodes). 11/10/08 He is composing for two films “A type of Love story/ Dir. M.Hasna. M” and “ The woman who wasn’t there/ Dir. Young Kim”. 10/25/08 He is rescoring for a short film “Waltz No.8”. 7/10/08 He is composing for two feature length documentaries “JIRANI” and “One of Us” (Produced by “UN ESCO-NGO/ Good Neighbors USA” an international nonprofit organization. 3/ 8/08 He is composing for “The Outlaw Emmett Deemus” produced by Larry Hankin who is an Academy nominee. 2/10/08 He is composing for a Polish film “Trust” directed by Alina Szpak. 2/ 4/08 Jay is working with Hillary Thomas for documentary film “Battlefield To Hollowed Ground” as a synthestrator. 12/21/08 “Actually Adieu my love” composed by Jay Kim has successfully been recorded at Warner Brothers scoring stage. played by the Hollywood Film Symphony Orchestra.
